A signal processing apparatus of an optical disc recording/reproducing apparatus and a signal processing method therefor are provided to allow a digital filter and a data operating unit to have a function of an MCU(Micro-Controller Unit). A digital filter(110) filters digital signals, and outputs the filtered digital signal values. A memory unit(120) stores the output signal values of the digital filter(110) as operation data. A data operating unit(130) operates the operation data outputted from the memory unit(120) in response to a certain command, and outputs the operated result value.
