PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat belt for transmission capable of preventing an inner peripheral side of the belt from being damaged due to wear caused by transmission of friction of the belt and a pulley and improving service life of the whole belt. SOLUTION: This flat belt for transmission is provided with a first cover rubber layer and a second cover rubber layer formed on the opposite face to the first cover rubber layer and is stretched around between a driving pulley and a driven pulley for use.
