PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally adhesive conjugated fiber which can control the degree of crystallization of each fiber-forming component, even when not spun at a high speed, and has good stiffness, card passability, thermal shrinkability, and low temperature processability, and to provide a nonwoven fabric using the same. SOLUTION: This thermally adhesive conjugated fiber of the present invention, comprising the first fiber-forming component and the second fiber-forming component, is characterized in that the second fiber-forming component has a lower melting point by 10°C or more than that of the first fiber-forming component; the second fiber-forming component occupies≥50% of the fiber surface; and the fiber satisfies the following (A) to (C). (A) The mol.wt. distribution (Q value) of the first fiber-forming component is≥4.5, when the conjugated fiber is measured. (B) The single fiber elongation of the conjugated fiber is≥500%. (C) The first component has relatively higher crystallizability than that of the second fiber-forming component. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
