PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required by a doctor to steadily decrease the possibility of personal mistakes by automating a chemical treatment that requires several centrifugal separation processes. SOLUTION: The centrifuge is capable of discharging supernatant liquid between two chambers or more in a container by holding a sample container in a selected direction during or after centrifugal separation. Discharging may be conducted by gravity or centrifugal force, thereby enabling the system to provide an automated process for performing a first physical or chemical treatment on the sample to produce first supernatant liquid.
