ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR VEHICLE WITH ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle equipped with an engine capable of obtaining a better theft preventive effect by preventing the engine from starting undeliberately even if a user leaves the vehicle after judgement that the person is a true user.

SOLUTION: The anti-theft device for the vehicle equipped with the engine is equipped with a portable transmitter/receiver to be carried by the user of the vehicle and a control unit mounted on the vehicle for judging whether the person appearing is a true user on the basis of the two-way communication with the portable transmitter/receiver and starting the engine in compliance with the starting operation after the judgement that the person is a true user, wherein the control unit makes invalid the judgement as a true user unless the starting operation is executed within the prescribed time of the passed judgement as a true user.
