PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion detection device of a conveyor belt capable of automatically, easily, and accurately detecting the abrasive amount of the conveyor belt during the operation. SOLUTION: A plurality of magnet sheets M1 to M5 magnetized in the thickness direction are buried so that their polarities appearing on their surfaces are positioned in the same direction and positioned deeper stepwise in the longitudinal direction of a belt body 2. A magnetic sensor 4 detecting a variation in the magnetic force of the magnet sheets M1 to M5 is disposed at a position through which the magnet sheets M1 to M5 are passed.
