<p>A process for the production of alkenyl ethers represented by the general formula (III) [wherein R<SUP>1</SUP>, R<SUP>2</SUP> and R<SUP>3</SUP> are each independently hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, or the like; n is an integer of 1 or above; and X is a group derived from substituted or unsubstituted alkane by removing n hydrogen atoms (which alkane includes those substituted with one or two aryl groups and the carbon atoms of which alkane may be partially replaced by oxygen or SO<SUB>2</SUB>), or the like], characterized by comprising the step of reacting a compound represented by the general formula (I) (wherein R<SUP>1</SUP>, R<SUP>2</SUP> and R<SUP>3</SUP> are each as defined above) with a compound represented by the general formula (II) (wherein n and X are each as defined above) and hydrogen halide to obtain an a-halo ether.</p> |
