<p>A base mat with tufted cut pile or loop pile rubber mat or woven cut pile or loop pile mat. The pile of the base mat could be either cut pile or loop pile or a combination of cut and loop pile. The backing could be either using a latex based compound or any petrochemical based compound. Designs or shapes are cut out from the base mat. An additional layer of backing compound (either a latex based compound or any petrochemical based compound) is applied from it. After the application of the additional compound and before this additional compound layer solidifies it is possible to insert into the cut off areas any embellishments, if required. It is possible to get a dramatic three - dimensional effect on the mat. By giving a colour to the additional backing it is possible to give colours to the base of the mat.</p> |
