OVEN AND HEATING APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

An oven and an oven heating apparatus are provided to improve operating efficiency of the oven by increasing the quantity of heat directly transferred to foodstuffs, and improve flavor of foodstuffs. An oven comprises a cavity(4) with high temperature environment; a heater for applying heat to an interior of the cavity through a heat radiation or convection system; a food container arranged in the cavity; and a pair of electrodes formed at the food container so that the electrodes contacts foodstuffs in the food container and directly heats the foodstuffs by supplying electric power to the foodstuffs. The food container is arranged in the cavity so that the food container is freely removable.
