<p>A waste separation bin with multiple compartments 3-9 and detachable storage units 10 - 15 where waste can be stored separately for recycling. Preferably the bin has a foot pedal 16 at the base of the bin's body 1 that may be used as a lever to compress waste prior to storage. The compartments may have hinged lids and guide means to ensure the storage units are easily inserted and removed from the compartments. The storage units may also have lids that will help to prevent a child from taking the waste back out and have child safe lids that can only be opened by an adult. The compartments may store kitchen waste, cans, bottles, kitchen waste paper and batteries and ink cartridges.</p> |
