The oven (1) has a magnetron (4) to radiate an electromagnetic field in a wave guide (3) which is connected to a cavity (2) of the oven (1) through a wave outlet. The cavity has an opening (8) corresponding to opening (6) arranged on a wall (7) of the waveguide. The cavity has a base wall (10) and a shell (9) which has two lateral walls (11), a lower wall (12) and an upper wall (13). The wave guide has a case (14) and a cover (15), where the guide has a covering unit independent of a fixation unit of the guide.
