An inner diameter securing apparatus for packing an inner peripheral ring of a coil type product is provided to remove deflection of a strip end portion of the coil product by simply installing the inner peripheral ring of the coil type product. An inner diameter securing apparatus for packing an inner peripheral ring of a coil type product includes band rolls(9,10), a band roll operating lever(1), a movement lever(2), and a fixation lever(3). The band rolls make contact with the inner peripheral surface of the coil type product. The band roll operating lever is adjacent to the inner surface of one end of the band roll and is rotatably installed in a support member. In the movement lever, a rack gear is installed at one end of the band roll so as to be linearly moved by the band roll operating lever. The fixation lever is installed on the inner surface of the band roll so as to be adjacent to the band roll movement lever to support an inner diameter securing unit.
