A mobile communication terminal having a display picture adjustment function and a control method therefor are provided to optimize the use convenience of the mobile communication terminal by efficiently displaying various programs embedded in the mobile communication terminal on a display with a limited space. A display(2), installed in a partial body of a mobile communication terminal(1), displays a plurality of contents application programs executed by the mobile communication terminal(1) as a maximizing or minimizing picture type. A main control unit(3) controls the minimizing or maximizing a display function of a plurality of the contents application programs displayed on the display(2). A key panel unit(7) has a button or a key for minimizing or maximizing a contents application program for which a user wishes among a plurality of the contents application programs currently executed on the display(2).
