The floor unit has a folding unit with panels (32, 34, 36) articulated around a horizontal axis transversal to a motor vehicle, between folded and deployed positions. The panels are superposed in the folded position, and delimit, on its upper side, a flat surface forming a continuous floor part in the deployed position. The floor part has longitudinal ends adjacent to fixed units (26, 28) of the vehicle, where one of the fixed units delimits the floor part coplanar to an upper surface of the folding unit.
