The sensor arrangement has sensors (2) which form slaves in a master-slave bus system (1) controlled by a control unit forming the master. A redundant evaluation unit (8) connected to the bus system continuously taps the signals on the bus system. The sensors, which are door closure detectors, generate signals with an individual code when each door is closed. Only if the codes can be identified with no errors can the processing machine be switched on via the evaluation unit.
