PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub body materializing large degree of freedom in relation to arrangement of spokes and smaller dimension and lighter weight as compared to a known hub. SOLUTION: The hub body of a spoked bicycle wheel comprises spoke attachment holes 101-108; 111-118; 201-208; 211-218; 221-228 made in the hub body in a direction substantially parallel to a rotation axis X of the hub body 1; 1a; 1b; 1c; 1d; 1e; 1f. Said holes 101-108; 111-118; 201-208; 211-218; 221-228 comprise a first set of holes 101-108; 111-118 at a first radial distance R 1 from the rotation axis X and a second set of holes 201-208; 211-218; 221-228 at a second radial distance R 2 from the rotation axis X, greater than the first radial distance R 1.
