<p>Internal combustion engine has a fluid pump (36), whose suction side connection (38) is connected downstream to the exhaust gas tract (14) of the turbine (30) of the turbocharger and its pressure side connection (40) is connected upstream to the exhaust gas tract of the turbine of the turbocharger. An independent claim is also included for operating internal combustion engine.</p>
