The proposed device for exciting a compensated synchronous generator contains an angular position transducer for the rotor of the generator, a current transformer, a low-pass filter, and additionally, a controlled source of excitation current for the longitudinal axis of the generator, an armature voltage transducer, an armature reactive current transducer, a controlled source of excitation current for the lateral axis, an armature active currenttransducer, an angular acceleration transducer for the rotor, and power amplifier for the excitation winding on the lateral axis.
