A display device is provided to reduce indistinctness of moving images by decreasing the response delay or luminance shortage of pixels generated by shortening a write period of a display signal in the pixel of the display device displaying a plurality of display data in one frame period. A display device includes a display panel(350) in which plural pixels are arranged; a first driving circuit outputting a display signal corresponding to display data(302) to the pixels; a second driving circuit outputting a selection signal for selecting the pixel to receive the display signal, to the pixel; a first conversion circuit inputting the display data in a cycle of frame, converting the display data of an n-th frame period according to a display data value of an (n-1)th frame period and a display data value of the n-th frame period, and outputting an m number of display data according to an m number of sections included in the n-th frame period; and a second conversion circuit converting each of the m display data to display the luminance corresponding to each display data input during the n-th frame period in the pixel. The first driving circuit outputs the display signal corresponding to the m display data sent from the second conversion circuit to the pixel, according to each of the m sections included in the n-th frame period.
