A method of protection against destruction of monumental-decorative objects, mainly made of concrete, provides for formation on the surface of the object of protective coating, for which the surface of the object is divided into separate fragments, for each of which is manufactured a pattern corresponding to it by size and shape from sheet material of ductile plastic weldable metal with a thickness not of less than 0.4 mm. Obtained patterns cover corresponding fragments of object in such a manner that the edge of patterns join together, and these edges are welded between them.
