The invention relates to a collapsible garment hanger that can be used for suspension of a garment. The garment hanger is itself collapsible such that when not in use, the invention can be stored easily for purposes such as traveling. The body consists of two vertical supports each intersected by upper and lower horizontal supports, each projecting through vertical supports. The garment supporting arms are fixed to the vertical supports by a means that allows their projection outwardly to a position where a garment could be supported. Reinforcing arms are fixed to projection of lower horizontal support and can also swing outwardly to a position that contacts garment supporting arms at various positions. The upper horizontal support makes room for a removable material that is used for suspension of the hanger and also used when hanger is collapsed for maintenance of collapsed shape.
