<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of smooth speed change by preventing contact of a yoke and a trunnion at a time of speed change. <P>SOLUTION: In this toroidal type continuously variable transmission, a first energizing means 202 applying energizing force in a direction to separate a pair of yokes 23A, 23B is inserted between a pair of the yoke 23A, 23B opposing each other, energizing force resisting energizing force of the first energizing means 202 is applied on a surface 300 and an opposite surface 302 of each yoke 23A, 23B receiving energizing force from the first energizing means 202 by a second energizing means 200. Especially, a predetermined gap s is formed between the yokes 23A, 23B and the trunnion 15 under a condition where energizing force of the first energizing means 202 balances with energizing force of the second energizing means 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
