<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain supply and transpiration of the natural hinoki oil, whose depletion is being worried, by extracting the oil from cut roots of natural hinoki left at a former felling site of standing trees of natural hinoki. <P>SOLUTION: This method of treating cut roots of natural hinoki comprises collecting and crushing cut roots of natural hinoki at a former felling site of standing trees of natural hinoki into fine chips, extracting the natural hinoki oil from the crushed chips, storing the oil in a porous container sealed with a foamed material and a storage apparatus separated from the container or attached to the container in a removable way, arranging the porous container impregnated with the oil in an appropriated amount at a position for an object to be transpired with the oil so as to transpire the oil and causing the porous container after the transpiration to be impregnated with a necessary amount of the oil drawn from the storage apparatus so as to sustain supply and transpiration of the oil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
