PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making auxiliary instrument for display, exhibiting operational effect which has not been obtained in the past. SOLUTION: This auxiliary instrument H for display is used for displaying exhibits stored in a case body 1 on a display shelf 8. The auxiliary instrument includes: a backward tilting display mechanism K composed of a support part 3 supporting the back 1a of the case body 1 in displaying the exhibits 2 stored in the case body 1 in the backward tilting state; and a receiving part 4 for receiving the lower end part 1c of the case body 1 supported by the support part 3 and put in the backward tilted state, wherein an inclined surface 5 inclined to ascend backward is provided between the receiving part 4 and the support part 3.
