A one-way flow type heat exchanger is provided to improve heating efficiency, durability against the same internal pressure, and brazing property by minimizing flow resistance of coolant and uniformly distributing coolant temperature at tubes inserted into a header. A one-way flow type heat exchanger consists of a pair of header tanks(40,50) arranged in parallel; plural tubes(32) installed at the header tank to communicate both ends; plural radiating fins(34) interposed between the tubes; a coolant entry pipe(36) and a coolant outlet pipe(38) installed at the header tanks; and reinforcing embossing(44a,54a) formed at the header tank. A ratio of depth of the inserted tube from the inner surface of the header tank to height of the coolant outlet pipe protruded inward from the inner surface of the header tank is 0.5~1.0. |
