The invention relates to a machine for spreading materials on the ground. Th e inventive machine comprises a structural assembly which is disposed on three independent wheel assemblies (2, 3, 4) which can be individually and selectively connected to a hydraulic drive system. The aforementioned structural assembly comprises a head (10) for distributing and levelling the materials to be applied, which is arranged such that it can move laterally i n relation to the mounting position at the front of the machine.
