<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating plants comprising spraying electrolytically generated acidic water to leaves of growing plants to promote growth of the plants, wherein the surfaces of the leaves are prevented from causing acid burning due to the sprayed electrolytically generated acidic water. <P>SOLUTION: The method for cultivating plants comprises: previously finding out the relationship between three of the acid burning of the plant leaves, properties of the electrolytically generated acidic water and chlorophyll value of the plant leaves; selecting the electrolytically generated acidic water allowed to be sprayed based on the chlorophyll value of the plants to be subjected to spray; and selecting plant leaves to be subjected to spray based on the chlorophyll value of the plant leaves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
