PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical/ultrasonic microscope system capable of reducing the installation space, and suppressing the facility cost. SOLUTION: This optical/ultrasonic microscope system 1 is equipped with a microscope body 3, an objective revolver 4, an X-Y stage 5, a personal computer 6 or the like. An objective lens 12 is screwed with a first female screw hole of the objective revolver 4, and an ultrasonic probe 13 is screwed with a second female screw hole. The ultrasonic probe 13 irradiates a living tissue 8 on a glass substrate 7 fixed to the X-Y stage 5 with ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic probe 13 receives the reflected waves and converts them into an electric signal. The personal computer 6 is connected electrically to the ultrasonic probe 13. The personal computer 6 finds the sound velocity of the living tissue 8, based on the electric signal from the ultrasonic probe 13 and generates the image data of a sound velocity image, based on the value.
