PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article-registering device which can print an individual-identification number (a lot number) on a receipt or a label and display the individual-identification number (the lot number) on a single action key. SOLUTION: An article-registering device is provided with; a display part 24a; an article information storage means 13a which stores article information such as article numbers, article names and so on; the single action key 41 which is provided in the display part, and calls, with a single action, article information on articles stored in the article information storage means to the display part; a single action key storage means 13b which stores article numbers corresponding to the single action keys, key-displaying names, individual-identification numbers (lot numbers) and so on; and a printing means which calls the individual-identification numbers (lot numbers) corresponding to the single action keys from the single action key storage means when a receipt or label is issued, reads the article information designated by the single action keys from the article information storage means, and prints the article information and the individual-identification numbers (lot numbers) together on the receipts or labels.
