<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device and authentication method capable of improving authenticating accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A target for biometrics authentication in a designated part of a living body is continuously imaged from different directions in sequence, and a plurality of images obtained from the continuously imaged results are mapped on an object with a shape corresponding to the part of the living body in sequence while dots on the target for biometrics authentication regarding the image are standardized. Respective images mapped on the object are registered on a storage medium as information for comparing with the images of the comparing target obtained by the imaged results in an arbitrary direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
