The interface device includes a first signal transmission device arranged on or in the hearing aid (1), and a second signal transmission device (5) which is mechanically detachable from the hearing aid. Optical signal transmission is enabled between the two signal transmission devices. The second signal transmission device may be provided with a light-emitting diode (6A-6C), while the first signal transmission device is provided with a receiving diode.
