Class 98(1) In a photographic camera having either the objective and diaphragm assembly or the shutter assembly separately interchangeable in which a releasable coupling connects the shutter speed setting member and the objective diaphragm setting member for simultaneous operation, a member is manually movable radially of the optical axis to uncouple the setting members. Preferably, the member is located so that it is operated by the hand as it holds the interchangeable objective or shutter prior to releasing the interchangeable connection. The member, in the form of a push-button 76, may be arranged either on an interchangeable objective mount 28 or on the mount support in front of a non-detachable shutter assembly 10 (Fig. 5, not shown). As shown, a tooth 46 on coupling ring 40 enters one of notches 48 on part 42 of shutter speed setting ring 16 under the action of spring 44. The ring 40 is connected to diaphragm setting ring 34 by radial arm 50 entering slot 51 (Fig. 4, not shown) in an axial extension of ring 34. A de-coupling ring 64 engages shoulder 68 of ring 40 and carries the latter axially forwards. When push-button 76 is depressed against the action of spring 78, the conical section 74 of the push button co-acting with the end edge of slot 72 provided in ring 64. A bayonet joint 24, 26 secures the lens mount. Several push-buttons 76 may be distributed around the circumference of the mount. When the shutter assembly 10 is removable, the relative positions of the lens elements 30 and shutter assembly 10 are interchanged so that the shutter precedes the objective.
