A system for servicing terrestrial and satellite unification multimedia broadcasting and a method thereof are provided to switch the received terrestrial and satellite broadcasting according to the selection of a channel. A frequency separation switching member(100) is switched by the control of a multimedia control member(112), separates terrestrial and satellite broadcasting signals from the DMB broadcasting signal and selectively outputs the signals. A D/A(Digital to Analog) converter(110) converts the broadcasting signal into an analog signal and provides the analog signal into the multimedia control member. The multimedia control member selectively controls the frequency separation switching member according to the channel signal selected by a key input member(114).
