<p>The circuit (10) has an inverter (12) comprising an electronic controller (13) i.e. digital signal processor (DSP), for controlling power switches (18) i.e. insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs). The controller supplies reactive current on a phase with voltage drop and supplies and/or draws active current on another phase without voltage drop during measured voltage drop on the former phase. A current measuring device (20) is provided between the inverter and a filter (14) e.g. reactor and transformer, for smoothing the current on an alternating current (AC) voltage side. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a three-phase inverter circuit.</p> |
