<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a rotary press and to perform it by a simple and inexpensive means. <P>SOLUTION: In a safety system equipped with at least two stationary detector elements 18 forming respectively first individual safety zones 2, the first safety zones 20 do not coincide with each other, and the safety system furthermore has a moving detector element 22 and a controlling unit connected with the stationary detector element 18.
