摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the output performance of acceleration type volume select excitation without knowledge on coil sensitivity in the case of using coil arrays different in transmission and in receiving. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging method includes: (a) a step of measuring or estimating the transmission sensitivity of a transmitter coil array; (b) a step of generating a virtual calibrated measured value based upon the transmission coil sensitivity for individual coils of the transmitter coil array along a first transmission locus reduced based on the acceleration factor AF and the transmission coil sensitivity for coupling coils of the transmitter coil arrays along (AF-1) number of other reduced transmission locus; (c) a step of calculating a coupling factor based upon the virtual calibrated measured value; and (d) a step of calculating a high-frequency exciting pulse inherent to the transmitter coil generating a desired excitation profile based on the obtained coupling factor when radiation is performed at the same time along the first reduced transmission locus by a plurality of or all coils of the transmitter coil array.
