PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat knitting machine for colored pattern accurately forming colored pattern with every stitch unit. SOLUTION: The flat knitting machine for colored pattern comprises a positive yarn feeding device 3 constituted to always positively regulate yarn feeding amount corresponding to forward yarn feeding and reverse yarn feeding of the flat knitting, and each is positively rotary driven, and at least a roll of the knitting yarn is respectively mounted, and the yarn is fed with a constant tension between a front roller 3a on upstream of yarn feeding direction of the knitting yarn S and a rear roller 3b installed on the downstream and the machine has a synthetic dyeing means 1 installed between the front roller 3a and the rear roller 3b.
