A cover sheet for a pushbutton switch and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase a waterproof property of the pushbutton switch cover sheet by using base sheet made of rubber-phase elastic unit to prevent permeation of moisture through a display portion. A cover sheet(11) for a pushbutton switch is made of a metal manipulation plate(12) and integrated with a base sheet(13), which is made of a rubber-phase elastic unit. A partition groove(14) is punched on one plane of the manipulation plate, and a pressurizing manipulation slice(15) is formed by the partition groove. A display portion(16) for displaying characters, symbols, and numbers is formed by penetrating the manipulation plate. A first pressuring manipulation slice with a first display portion is formed under the partition groove. A second pressuring manipulation slice with a second display portion is formed on the partition groove. The first and second pressurizing slices face each other.
