<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select an image output device suitable for a document without applying a user's time and effort when the document is printed by an image output system having a plurality of image output devices. <P>SOLUTION: Print selection criteria for selecting the image output device from attribute information of the document are determined.
