LINEAR, FILMY BIODEVICE AND BIOREACTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear biodevice, a filmy biodevice and a bioreactor on which adhesive cells can be immobilized in good efficiency and in a high density and which have excellent handleability and applicability.

SOLUTION: This linear bioreactor comprises a fiber having a curved portion on the cross section approximately vertical to the longitudinal direction, and nearly spherical adhesive cells adhered to the periphery of the fiber. The filmy biodevice comprises a sheet having opened portions and nearly spherical adhesive cells adhered to the opened portions. Curved portions exist on the inside cross sections of the opened portions. The bioreactor comprises a filmy bioreactor on which spherical adhesive cells thickly grow to occlude the opened portions of the sheet.
