PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fittings for fall prevention for a flat TV, which eliminate the need for dealing with the rear side of the TV for hooking a string or attaching a belt material to the back side of the TV, and for the drilling work for attaching a hook used for hooking a string on the wall in the house. SOLUTION: The fall-prevention fittings 2 are formed, by attaching a T-shaped material 21A to the rear side 12 of a flat TV 1 and a T-shaped material to an installation surface 51, respectively using an adhesive tape. A belt 25A runs through a primary opening area at a primary binding portion of the T-shaped material 21A and a secondary opening area at a secondary binding portion of the T-shaped material, and both ends of the belt 25A are bound by the "square-shapedθ" material 27A to form an annular shape. Such an arrangement ensures that a flat television 1 slides on the installation surface 51 of a television table 5 by means of the fall-prevention fittings 2, even if a strong shake such as an earthquake occurs, and can prevent the flat TV from falling on the TV viewers.
