CHAIN STITCH SEWING MACHINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain stitch sewing machine suited for executing multicolor chain stitches on a cylindrical workpiece. SOLUTION: This chain stitch sewing machine is provided with a connecting member having a single thread passage driven to selectively connect either one of a plurality of thread feed ports to a threading port of a looper, and a mechanism for inserting the sewing thread of the single thread feed port communicated with the threading port of the looper via the connecting member into the threading port of the looper so as to enable sewing work. The constitution of connecting either one of the plurality of thread feed ports to the threading port of the looper by the connecting member having the single thread passage can attain a small constitution capable of storing a whole thread feed mechanism selectively feeding a plurality of sewing thread with different colors and properties to the single looper, or the looper in a looper base. This constitution can be favorably applied to the chain stitch sewing machine suited for executing the chain stitches on the cylindrical workpiece. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
