COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM USED FOR ENCRYPTION COMMUNICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of realizing encryption communication with an opposite apparatus by having only to setting the security policy so as to eliminate the need for making setting of disused proxy by each application.

SOLUTION: An application section 10 inquires of a security policy database section 30 about the security policy at communication with a desired opposite apparatus. When the security policy corresponding to the communication with the opposite apparatus adopts the protocol IPsec, the application section 10 executes encryption communication in compliance with the IPsec directly with the opposite apparatus not by way of the proxy even when the setting defines the encryption communication by way of the proxy.
