<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fare processing apparatus which is capable of collecting a proper fare in accordance with the age of a person utilizing transport facilities. <P>SOLUTION: The fare processing apparatus exactly calculates fares in accordance with a plurality of age-classified fares 36 different by ages, which are provided for the same section. The fare processing apparatus includes; a read means 10 for reading information of a storage medium 30 wherein date data 35 and 38 being information indicating dates of switching to different age-classified fares out of the plurality of age-classified fares 36 are recorded together with valuable value data obtained by making information of a valuable value allowing the use of means of transportation; a comparison means for comparing date information 7 of the fare processing apparatus with the date data 35 and 38; and a fare exact calculation means for selecting one age-classified fare 36 by the comparison means to exactly calculate a fare from the valuable value information 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
