PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the conventional batch type kneader and the like raises, problems of the restricted production scale, consumption of much electric energy, insufficient transparency of the obtained pigment and the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the pigment composition comprises kneading a mixture that consists of an organic pigment, a water-soluble inorganic salt, a water-soluble organic liquid and a resin in a continuous kneading machine that has pulverizing spaces formed in the gap parts between the annular fixed disks and the rotating disks that are concentric with the fixed disks that rotate as one body around the axial center of the driving shaft.
