The alarm clock (11) includes key switches for setting an alarm time and for switching off the alarm signal, as well as a display (13) in the visible front surface area of a clock casing, for displaying the predetermined alarm time. A day switch (18) is provided for switching off the alarm signal up to the next reaching of the adjusted alarm time. The day switch is arranged on a surface of the casing of the alarm clock opposite a base- or foot surface area, and is formed as a push button to be operated against the base- or foot surface area.
