An LCD is provided to efficiently discharge heat generated from a back light unit by including a heat pipe for discharging heat from the back light unit to the outside of a bottom chassis. An image is formed at a liquid crystal panel(10). A back light unit(20) is disposed at the rear of the liquid crystal panel to supply light to the liquid crystal panel. A bottom chassis(30) receives the back light unit. Heat pipes(40,50) discharge heat from the back light unit to the outside of the bottom chassis. The back light unit includes a light guide plate(21) having at least one incidence surface and an LED(light emitting device) unit(22). The LED unit is formed along the incidence surface of the light guide plate to supply light to the liquid crystal panel. |
