PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely evade a possessor of a mobile terminal from being damaged with less labor and time on the occurrence of missing or a theft of the mobile terminal device. SOLUTION: The information maintenance system 1 for mobile terminal devices includes: one or more relay base stations 6 connected to a concerned mobile terminal device 7 via a radio wave communication means; an authentication apparatus 4 for carrying out personal authentication processing for identifying whether or not a person is the possessor; and a management apparatus 5 for generating a remote control packet for applying information maintenance processing to the mobile terminal device 7, and when the possessor applies an information maintenance request to the mobile terminal 7, the authentication apparatus 4 carries out personal authentication processing, and when the personal authentication indicates coincidence, the management apparatus 5 generates the remote control packet, the relay base station 6 transmits the packet to the mobile terminal device 7, and the mobile terminal device 7 receives the remote control packet and carries out prescribed information maintenance processing.
