PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device capable of correctly butting a work to a bumper even when a worker is a beginner, enhancing the bending accuracy, performing the work in a comfortable posture, and enhancing the bending efficiency by displaying the position of the bumper even when the space of blades of a punch and a die is small, and the worker cannot see the bumper of a back gage directly. SOLUTION: The bending device has a bumper position irradiation means 1 to irradiate a surface of a die D with the visible light L of the width substantially equal to the width A of back gage bumpers 10, 11. For example, the bumper position irradiation means 1 is provided on the back gage bumpers 10, 11, and the bumper position irradiation means 1 is constituted of an irradiation head 2 which emits the visible light L and is turnable by the predetermined angle, and a stay 4 which supports the irradiation head 2 and is provided on upper sides of bumper bodies 10A, 11A.
