The sealed passage for a rotating shaft (5) has at least one connection (3) through which a fluid medium can pass via a channel (4). The portion with the the connection is able to swivel by means of a bearing housing (2) surrounding the shaft. A casing (7) carries a graphite seal which includes an interspersed graphite seal bushing (8).
